A house fire occurred early this morning in Johnstown.

The fire happened at a vacant home near the intersection of Napoleon Street and Everhart Street just before 9 a.m. Thursday.

Johnstown Fire and West Hills Fire Departments responded to the scene, and were worried nearby houses would catch on fire, but no surrounding buildings were damaged.

The fire started on the second floor. No one was inside and no one was injured.

Officials said the fire could be suspicious since the home was vacant and the utilities were shut off. The Fire Marshall was also on the scene this morning.

Officials said they are going to have to have to tear the house down either today or in the near future because if might fall down.
