Five people are injured after a crash in Cambria County.

At least one person was seriously injured after a two-vehicle, head-on crash in Clearfield Township.

The crash happened just after 4 p.m. Tuesday on the 24 hundred block of Colonel Drake Highway.

Police say a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Dustin Kirsch was driving at a high rate of speed, and for an unknown reason swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to UPMC Altoona with serious injuries.

The driver of the other car, 56-year-old Lauren Miller, along with three juvenile passengers also suffered injuries. They were all wearing seatbelts.

Ashville Fire Department, along with Cambria Alliance, Carrolltown EMS and AMED responded to the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
