PennDOT has temporarily reduced the speed limit on Interstate 80 in Clinton, Centre, and Clearfield counties to 45 mph. This speed reduction is in addition to the reduction already in place for Route 322 in Mifflin and Juniata counties.
Although PennDOT crews have been treating roadways, they say department’s primary goal is to keep roads passable, not completely free of ice and snow. They will continue to treat roadways throughout the storm until roads are clear.
