A restaurant in Huntington announced they’re going to be making some changes in the next few weeks.

Christa and Jason McGeary bought All-American Pizza and Subs five years ago, and they wanted to spruce up the place after some customers started to say it looked run down.

“It’s time to modernize a little bit with everybody else so we’re excited to be moving in that direction,” Christa McGeary said.

At first, they wanted to do cosmetic updates but after seeking advice from Huntingdon County Business and Industry, along with their contractor Josh Williams, they decided a full remodel was best, and announced their renovation plans on Facebook last Friday. The post received lots of positive feedback from folks saying they’re excited about the remodel.

“We were just trying to make what the community wants more and like I said, I take all of their feedback to heart so that’s kinda what people have wanted so that’s what we gonna try to give them.”

And it’s not just the look of the restaurant that’s changing. They’ll be adding new items to the menu as well as a new loyalty program for frequent customers.

For those of you wondering how long you’ll be without all American, they will be closed from 7 pm on Saturday, January 26 until that Friday, February, 1.

They hope to reopen by Big Game Weekend.
