The community is invited to attend an interactive Community discussion Wednesday, February 6, to give their opinion on the State College Strategic Planning Project’s framework.

The discussion will be in the Community Room of the State College Municipal Building on South Allen Street and will also discuss the Draft Vision Statement and the Critical Success Factors.

There are two identical sessions that community members can attend. The first will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and the second will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

In late 2018, State College began a strategic planning process to talk about the long-term vision of the community and give direction for the organization. In December, the Borough Council created a Draft Vision Statement and identified six Critical Success Factors, those things that must go well for the overall vision to succeed. One of those components gives the community the opportunity to provide feedback about the process.

For those who can’t attend the meeting, residents can provide input and feedback online at www.statecollegepa.us/engage in the Borough’s Strategic Plan Project.
