A man has been charged with starting a house fire at an Altoona home Tuesday morning.
Police say Michael Miller set fire to a house along Logan Boulevard just before 9:10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
A family of six was living there and two of them were inside at the time, but they escaped without injuries.
The home suffered major damage.
Miller is behind bars at the Blair County Prison.
He is facing multiple felony charges including Arson and Risking a Catastrophe.
His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, February 13.
