A DuBois man was in court after police said he made verbal threats to “blow up” the middle school.

Michael Vetter, 65, was sentenced to three years probation, a $300 fine and court costs after pleading guilty to misdemeanor terroristic threats.

The judge ordered he not go on school property, complete anger management class, and pay the middle school a total of $403.50. The charges followed a truancy officer’s visit to Vetter’s home in January.
