Today is the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. 

 

There will be events honoring Vietnam Veterans all across the country today, including here in our region. 

 

At 10:00 a.m. there will be a wreath laying ceremony and taps will be played at the Wall that Heals in Altoona. 

 

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, there will be several Vietnam War display tables set up in the VA Medical Center’s auditorium along with historic videos of the war.
