Nearly a week after the Pennsylvania Primary Election, Art Halvorson has acknowledged his loss in the 9th Congressional District.
The retired Coast Guard Captain’s campaign unofficially ended election night when he trailed Representative Bill Shuster by more than a thousand votes.
Since then, Halvorson has been waiting until all the absentee and provisional ballots were counted in the District’s 12 counties.
On Monday, Halvorson publicly accepted Tuesday’s election results and officially conceded.
