Start working on your gardening projects this weekend at the Discovery Garden Plant Sale!

The Discovery Garden Plant Sale is set for Saturday, May 14 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Legion Park in Hollidaysburg. All proceeds benefit the Discovery Garden & Therapy Program.

The first garden of its kind in Blair County, Discovery Garden has been used for various activities, including ecology education and other inclusive events in Blair County. Check out the Discovery Garden online for more information.

The Skills Horticultural Therapy Program has been working to promote community inclusion, educational and outdoor opportunities. Participants complete a series of classes about trees, flowers, and herbs. They take part in hands-on experiements, visit greenhouses, plant seeds, transplant seedlings and more! The classes are typically 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the needs and schedules for the participant.
