An annual summer food service program, operated by the Altoona Area School District, is beginning soon.
Meals will be available free of charge for preschoolers and children 18 or younger.
Parents will also be able to purchase meals when they accompany their children, at a price of $2 for breakfast and $3 for lunch.
Breakfast will be served Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
The program will begin June 13 and end on July 29 at multiple schools in the area.

Irving Elementary
Juniata Elementary
Logan Elementary
Penn Lincoln Elementary
Baker Elementary
Washington-Jefferson Elementary School.
