Top-seeded Saint Francis held off a Byrant for a 67-63 win in the Northeast Conference quarterfinals. The win advances the Red Flash into the semifinals against sixth-seeded LIU-Brooklyn in Loretto Saturday at 2 p.m.
Saint Francis finished the second half on a 31-9 run. The Bulldogs would cut the lead in the second half, but the Red Flash would hold on. Keith Braxton led the team with 15 points and eight rebounds. Isaiah Blackman added 14 points and Andrew Wolford added 13 points off the bench.
