World War II Victory Weekend

Celebrate the 70^th Anniversary of World War II soldiers coming home with the Blair County Historical Society!

U.S. Hotel Restaurant & Tavern in Hollidaysburg will host a 1940s Swing Dance on Friday, June 24 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. There will be live music from the San Tones Orchestra, hors d’oeurves and cash bar. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Get your tickets now by calling (814) 695-2624.

The Everett Railroad Company will hold 1946 style Train Excursions on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday June 26 which meets at 244 Loop Road in Hollidaysburg. Enjoy a ride on a vintage locomaotive train and join “World War II soldiers” as they return home. All tickets are $16 with trips at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Get your tickets online today!
