Two parents who police say locked their children in dog cages as punishment have now both waived their preliminary hearings.

Nicholas Chamberlain waived his hearing on August 3rd. Wednesday, August 17th, his wife, Linda Chamberlain, waived her hearing at Central Court in Huntingdon County.

The couple was originally charged in July after one of their children called police from a neighbor’s home, saying their sibling was locked in a dog cage.

Nicholas Chamberlain is due back in court for a formal arraignment September 1st. Linda Chamberlain’s formal arraignment is scheduled for September 29th.
