Trying the authentic cuisine is something you have to do while in Rio.

The spectacular views of Copacabana Beach pair perfectly with an authentic Brazilian meal.

Kiosks offer an affordable lunch with a relaxing atmosphere.

The perfect refreshment on a hot day is coconut water, served straight from the coconut.

“It’s very fresh here in Rio. You generally have a lot of sun and hot weather,” Monica Olivera from Mexico City said about the coconut water.

The menus are printed in Portuguese, but there are pictures to help you place an order.

All of the food is prepared in an underground kitchen.

Many visitors weighed in on their thoughts of the local cuisine.

“The food has been incredible,” Chrissie Baumann from West Chester, Pennsylvania said.

“I have heard the fried shrimp on all these beaches are to die for,”  Anupam Dutta from New York City adds.

“This is living the life. Coconut water and a delicious meal on Copacabana Beach,” Jasmine Brooks said.
