People living in Centre County are invited to attend a meeting Monday afternoon about biosolids.
State Representative Mike Hanna will host a House Democratic Policy Committee hearing on the use of sewage sludge by land application.
The hearing will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Quality Inn on North Eagle Valley Road in Milesburg.
Hanna expects environmental concerns will be addressed and said there will be discussion about the negative impacts of ground source water and human health.
