Some alarming results were recently released in a Lyme disease study this week.
According to the study, done by faculty and students at University of Pittsburgh – Johnstown, one in every three deer ticks contains Lyme disease.
Jill Henning, an associate professor at the university says her team of Pitt Johnstown students tested Bedford, Cambria, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.
They had been working on this study for several years.
