A Somerset County man waived his assault charges to court.
Brandon Leer is accused of shaking his 2 month old daughter causing a serious brain injury.
The little girl is now on life support.
Police say after the baby would not stop crying, Leer admitted to shaking her for about a minute.
The 23 year-old Friedens man called 911 after the baby became unresponsive.
Leer is facing aggravated assault and other related charges.
