It was a day for our four-legged friends Sunday in Blair County.

The 7th Annual Central PA Pet Expo took over the Convention Center in Allegheny Township.

Everything from pet products on display and for sale, to a “Rescue Row” featuring over a dozen animal rescue groups and veterinarians there to answer questions, this show is for the pet lover in all of us.

Central PA Pet Expo Coordinator Amy Hanna-Eckenrode added,  “We’ve continued to grow over the years in not only size but in attendance to help not only educate and entertain people, but to help them become the best responsible pet owners that they can possibly be.”

The Altoona Area Kennel Association and the Centre County Wildlife were among the groups who held demonstrations on different breeds of dogs and cats.
