The 16th Annual Altoona Signature Chefs Auction is set for Monday, November 21, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona. Tickets cost $75. Order Your Tickets Today! All the proceeds benefit the March of Dimes.

Cranberry Walnut Chutney (aka Christmas)

1 pound walnuts

32 oz dried cranberries

32 oz dried cherries

2 TBS Cinnamon

2 TBS Ground ginger

2 TBS Allspice

1 oz caramel syrup

1 oz cinnamon syrup

1 oz vanilla syrup

16 oz white sugar

¼ pound butter

16 oz water

5 grates of nutmeg

Melt butter in large saucepan.  Add all ingredients, cook until reduced slightly, creating a sticky consistency.  Cool on cookie sheets.
