Arsons continue to plague a Somerset County mobile home community.

We’re told investigators think another fire at an abandoned trailer in Cherry Lane Estates was set around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Somerset Police Chief Randy Cox said the Somerset Volunteer Fire Department worked with two other fire departments and had it out in less than an hour.

One resident of the trailer court, Michelle Lewis, said the person setting these fires could cost someone their life.

“What if somebody happens to be in there sleeping? They don’t know. They just start a fire. Well, what if they take a life? What’s gonna happen then? I just don’t understand. I don’t get it. I don’t get any of this,” she said.

This is the 16th trailer fire at the trailer court since May 2018. Somerset Police and the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall continue to investigate the incident.
