After careful consideration, Giant Eagle, Inc. has made the difficult but necessary decision to discontinue operations at the GetGo located at 100 West Plank Road in Altoona. The GetGo will close at the end of business on Tuesday, January 17.

 

“We thank our customers for their years of patronage at this location, and invite them to visit us at our Sophira Lane GetGo near the Altoona Giant Eagle for their fueling needs” said Giant Eagle spokesperson Dan Donovan.

 

The West Plank Road GetGo originally opened in 2010. All eight West Plank Road GetGo Team Members who are interested will be offered employment at the nearby Altoona Giant Eagle and GetGo locations.
