Work on the former Cambria County prison is expected to begin this spring, with a developer planning to turn the old stone jail into a restaurant and brewery.
The building currently houses county records, but according to Ebensburg Borough officials, the sale of the building should be completed soon.
The records office will be relocated by the end of March, at which development of the property can begin.
