The Wall of Faces is a website dedicated to honoring and remembering every person whose name is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Until this week, the photo of a marine from Cambria County was missing.
That’s when the Cambria County Veteran Affairs office got involved. Workers there posted a message on Facebook hoping to track down a photo of Private Martin Hanlon to add to the virtual wall. The young man from Galitzin died in 1970. His fiance, the woman he never came home to, still had a photo of Pvt. Hanlon in uniform and dropped it off at the office in Ebensburg a few days ago.
The Vietnam Wall of Faces now has a photo of every Cambria County veteran who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation.
