An area facility that helps abused or neglected children is getting a large donation from the community.
The Children’s Advocacy Center in Centre County will receive $200,000, raised at the Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball, on February 11.
The advocacy center, located in Bellefonte, supports children during the process of identifying, intervening, and treating child abuse and neglect.
Mt Nittany says its 69th annual event netted a record amount of donations.
