In Richland Township, schools were canceled Wednesday and snow plows worked all day to clear the streets, trying to keep up with the heavy snowfall and strong winds.
People in the area had mixed reactions about the storm.
“I hate this weather. I want it to be spring. I want it to be warm. Send me to Florida,” said Patty Tessari, who hates the snow.
“This part of the year, we’ve been lucky so far, what we have today. Maybe next week will be in the 40s and the 50s,” said Ted Tomera, a Richland Township resident.
Some people who had to work in Richland Township, said they had a little trouble driving to work on the hilly roads because of the snow.
