PITTSBURGH, ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A ruling by a state judge means that people with Highmark insurance won’t have access to some UPMC services after the end of June. However, in a statement, UPMC says that UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford will still remain in-network for Highmark subscribers.

That includes regional outpatient centers in Altoona, Bedford, and Huntingdon.

Outpatient services at the UPMC center in Ebensburg will be out-of-network for patients with Highmark coverage.

Most UPMC  locations in Pittsburgh also will be out-of-network beginning in July.  However, Highmark subscribers will still have in-network access to UPMC Children’s Hospital and UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh.
