Stevens: has dream to play pro ball. No. 1 focus is draft, but if he doesn’t get the feedback he likes then he will stay— Peter Terpstra (@PeetaWTAJ) April 9, 2019
In August of 2018, the NCAA announced changes to its rules regarding its basketball players. College players can now hire agents and still return to school if they wish.
Stevens announced his intentions to do just that. He will make his final decision to return to school or leave for pro basketball depending on the feedback he receives from teams.
Stevens just completed his junior season at Penn State. He received first-team all-Big Ten honors awarded by the league’s coaches. He earned second-team all-Big Ten honors by the conference’s media members.
He averaged 20 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in Big Ten play this past season.
